Going on its 9th straight years as one of the must-attend events of WMC, Get Lost Miami returns in extraordinary fashion. Presented by Damian Lazarus and his Crosstown Rebels label, Get Lost Miami features some of the best performances and always the top atmosphere during the hectic, party week.
To make 2014 the biggest and best year yet, Get Lost Miami will be a non-stop 24 hour party for the first time ever. The event will encompass two interior rooms and an outside garden. With an lineup unlike anything else featuring Carl Craig, Droog, Heidi vs Scuba, Ida Engberg, Pete Tong, Sasha, Infinity Ink live, and many more. But one would be wise to remember, that the unannounced guests are always some of the highlights. In the spirit of Get Lost's origins as an after-hours, Sasha will get the party kicked off at 5am, ushering in the dawn, before the opening of the outdoor garden and the daytime main event. A new addition to Get Lost this year is the inclusion of DJ Harvey's After-Hours Discotheque, transforming one of the interior rooms into an all night disco, DJ Harvey will close Get Lost starting at midnight with a five-hour set. Having dropped what fans and critics claim to the best Phase One line-up to date, ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL now slams down a tantalizing Phase Two, teaming with more top-drawer talent and complete with a World Premiere festival performance that is some 10 months in the making.
Jack U, the collaborative production project announced by OWSLA boss Skrillex and Mad Decent head honcho Diplo back in April 2013, will finally get its festival inauguration at ULTRA over the weekend of Friday, March 28 – Sunday, March 30 at Bayfront Park, Downtown Miami. As two of the biggest hitters in the world of bass music prepare to take to the decks, back-to-back, you can be sure that this particular performance will go down as one of the most memorable in ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL's 16 year history. Also included in the Phase Two line up are a whole host of faces old and new spanning the entire spectrum of dance music, in the form of Afrobeta, Alvin Risk, Aly & Fila, Amtrac, Andrea Oliva, Audien, Brillz, Bro Safari, Candyland, Cedric Gervais, Chance The Rapper, Clockwork, Cosmic Gate, Craze, Crizzly, Dannic, Danny Marquez, Danyelino, Dirtyphonics, Don Diablo, Dusky, DVBBS, Dyro, Fedde Le Grand, Figure, Goldfish, Gramatik, Gradtheft, Hardline, Henry Fong, Hugo Bianco, Infected Mushroom, Jochen Miller, John Digweed, John O'Callaghan, Julio Bashmore, Justin Oh, Kill Frenzy, DJ Koo, Laidback Luke, MAKJ, The Martinez Brothers, Mat Zo, Michael Brun, Ms. Mada, MOTi, Mykris, Myon & Shane 54, Paper Diamond, Pegboard Nerds, Rebecca & Fiona, RL Grime, Rony Seikaly, Sandro Silva, Sluggers, Stafford Brothers, Syn Cole, Thunderpony, Tommie Sunshine, Ummet Ozcan, Viceroy and Vicetone. All of these and more will be joining an already immense Phase One Lineup including the very finest Live and DJ talent the electronic music world has to offer. For the full lineup, refer to the official poster here. In addition to ULTRA's goliath Main Stage, the ever-impressive Live Stage and the inimitable Ultra Megastructure hosted by Carl Cox & Friends (10 Year Anniversary) and Armin van Buuren (ASOT 650 New Horizons), all of which were confirmed at the back end of 2013, the rest of Ultra's stages can also now be revealed. Providing the very best in underground house and techno, for those who like their grooves deeper and darker than most, will be the brand new Underground Story | Link Miami Rebels stage. Taking things a notch deeper on Friday and Saturday with the likes of Jamie Jones, Art Department, Solomun and Tale of Us, this will be replaced on Sunday by the Ultra Ibiza | Space Ibiza collective, hosted by stalwarts and heavyweights such as Cirez D, John Digweed, The Martinez Brothers, Dusky and Cajmere. As ever, the Ultra Worldwide Stage will return on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 to welcome some of the biggest names in Trap, Dubstep and Drum & Bass including Carnage, Borgore, Adventure Club, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus and RL Grime, while Sunday will see the likes of Fedde Le Grand, Gareth Emery, Cedric Gervais, Mat Zo and Danny Avila rock the Ultra Korea stage like only they know how. Finally the much-loved UMF Radio stage will be running all weekend long, featuring some of the very best up-and-coming DJs from the past 12 months, as well as some more experienced players thrown in for good measure. From Kill The Noise, Alvin Risk and 12th Planet on Friday, to Cazzette, Dyro, Dannic and chart-sensation Ummet Ozcan on Saturday, ULTRA will then be venturing into unchartered waters on Sunday as the UMF Radio stage gets a nu-disco makeover. Mike Saint-Jules took to the stage at Webster Hall this past week to start things up for our pals Gabriel and Dresden. Not the usual stuff we expect from Mike. More downtempo night starter stuff. Just goes to show how he can set the mood and fit the style of the headliner of the night. Great stuff. Plug in to Mike Saint-Jules live at Webster Hall New York.
