Listen: Pitchfork premieres Sonns remix of The Field's "Cupid's Head" Posted: 10 Jan 2014 08:18 AM PST Hitting our shelves on January 20th, the first batch of remixes for The Field's highly acclaimed "Cupid's Head" tends to the album's title track and features three cuts where the dreamy and the sinister share equal airplay. After premiering the awesome Vatican Shadow revamp a few months ago, Pitchfork now presents an exclusive full stream of the Sonns Mix, arguably the most floor-centric of the EP. Sonns is the solo project of Split Secs' Alexandre Mouracade - he delivers the secret club weapon in the package and a deliberately thumping take on The Field's meandering loopscapes. Köln: Heinz Gaul Sommerfest mit Kölsch Posted: 02 Aug 2013 03:51 AM PDT Mit seinem neusten Eintrag im Kompakt Katalog, sorgt Kölsch derzeit für feuchte Augen auf dem Dancefloor – für einige ist "1977" bereits jetzt das Album des Jahres. Am 10. August präsentiert Rune Reilly Kölsch sein Album auf dem Sommerfest der Kölner Off-Location Heinz Gaul. Der Grill brennt ab 21:00 Uhr. Pierre Chevallier und Kompakt Stammspieler Denis Stockhausen machen das Abendprogramm komplett. Following his latest full-length "1977", Kölsch will headline Heinz Gauls' "Sommerfest", due to take place on Saturday, August 10th. The 400-capacity Cologne venue will celebrate its "Sommerfest" with a BBQ, an ambient floor and more. Doors open at 9:00 PM. Pierre Chevallier and Kompakt regular Denis Stockhausen make up the rest of the bill.
