Jessy Lanza's new album Oh No is coming out May 13th. This is very exciting news for anyone who heard her amazing debut Pull My Hair Back. In anticipation of Oh No, the Canadian singer-songwriter recently released her first single from the upcoming album — another infectious beat driven jewel called, "It Means I Love You."
Jessy made the new album with her musical partner — Junior Boy Jeremy Greenspan. While CBC Music was in Hamilton recording a First Play Live session with Junior Boys, we also captured this live version of Jessy's hot new single. Tori Tizzard adds steady live drumming and Jeremy Greenspan is on the keys and effects. If the rest of the album is as good as this single, Jessy Lanza's new album will be a Polaris prize favourite again. Dig it.
