For the recording of their new album Whorl, UK electronic duo Simian Mobile Disco (aka James Ford and Jas Shaw) trekked out to Pioneertown, a small California desert community near the Joshua Tree National Park, where they played a local saloon with a skeletal live setup. The result of their landmark performance formed the basis of their newly released fourth album dropping this week on ANTI-. Stream Whorl in its hour-long entirety accompanied by some stunning oscillating visuals now.

Boom! Calvin Harris' global domination continues with the Scottish hit-maker becoming the most streamed British solo act of all-time on Spotify, cresting 1 billion spins. The landmark figure translates to an unprecedented 5,000 years of continuous listening and has reportedly earned him over US $6.4 million. To mark this auspicious occasion, Harris will host a Spotify playlist takeover tomorrow on Tuesday, September 9th at 8:00 pm GMT, where he'll introduce a number of his favorite tunes.

Bristol-based eclectronic producer Addison Groove (aka Tony Williams) entered the global dance music consciousness with a bang—not with a whimper. 2010's footwork-influenced "Footcrab" made a massive underground impact and he's kept up the pace over the past few years. His most recent release, "Turn Up the Silence" continues his exploration of combining Chicago footwork with the UK's bass scene. And, as you might imagine, he's got mad skills manipulating the classic Roland TR-808 drum machine.
