Rapper Tre Mission, who splits his time between his hometown of Toronto and London, England, has been tipped as the next big thing to come out of the city's rap scene for a few years now.
While his musical roots are in the British grime scene — a subgenre based on rave-influenced beats and battle bred rhymes — his first label-backed release, Stigmata, is much more than that. It features guest spots from artists both Canadian (Andreena, Saukrates, K-OS) and British (Wiley, JME, Skepta, Merky Ace) and sounds ranging from lush, piano-driven, orchestral tunes like "Money Make (Her)" to harsh, fast, dense electronic numbers like "Milly" and "Rally."
Stigmata comes out on August 11. You can pre-order it here.
