Atlantic Canada's greatest annual musical event, the Halifax Pop Explosion, did a second round of roster announcements yesterday. Highlights included the addition of goth-soul artist Cold Specks, Inuit throat-singer Tanya Tagaq, and Torotonian EDM mega-stars Zeds Dead.
The announcement also included the addition of electronic music hometown boys Ryan Hemsworth and Rich Aucoin.
The Pop Explosion lineup announcement happened last month, and included artists like Danny Brown, BadBadNotGood, who will be playing with the Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, and Against Me!.
