For a brief moment earlier this week, hundreds of thousands of people believed that the Back to the Future Part II-style hoverboard technology we'd all been dreaming of really existed.
The video, by a company called HUVr Technology, featured Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, musicians like Moby and Schoolboy Q and retired NFL star Terrell Owens, all riding the skateboard of the future. The video featured music by Chromeo, Best Coast, Zoo Brothers and John Saunders.
Of course, the whole thing turned out to be a hoax. HUVr Technology is actually just Funny or Die, and you can even see some cables around the 2:15 mark.
That said, it's still totally worth watching. Also, Christopher Lloyd has not aged at all.
