The 20JK Pop Up Store Berlin continues its tightly packed program on Tuesday, September 3rd, at 14:00 (local time) - come by to pick up exclusive vinyl and CD releases, plus take in talks, performances, and experience the open studios. Day 3 will be spent in the presence of musician, sound designer and Ableton staple Dennis DeSantis, who's well-known for tech demos that are practical, clear, informative, and fun. Stop by for a free demonstration and discussion with Dennis (starting at 16:00), looking at Ableton Live 9 and Push, Ableton’s first-ever hardware instrument. At 18:00, Innervisions' Âme and Kompakt's Saschienne will take to the in-store stage for a taste of their world-renowned performance skills. Âme have established themselves as two of the most soulful musicians and selectors in Berlin and will join the pop up store with what promises to be a very special DJ set - due to scheduling issues, Âme switched set times with Terranova, who will take his slot on Thursday, September 5th. Saschienne sees techno legend Sascha Funke and multi-instrumentalist Julienne Dessagne team up for what has been a public love story with their sweet debut album, "Unknown". Expect something intimate from this live performance. The Pop Up Store is located at Ableton HQ, Schönhauser Allee 6-7, Berlin, Germany - the space has a cap of 120 attendees, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Today, Berlin-based techno veteran Terranova released a remixed version of his latest club anthem "Painkiller". Expertly cantillated by WhoMadeWho's Tomas Høffding aka Bonhomme, it was especially the title track that conquered the dancing crowd's hearts and minds with an enticing narrative of loss and hope. Now fitted with head-turning remixes by Michael Mayer, Rampa & Re.You and David Mayer, "Painkiller" radiates new pizzazz in three distinct versions sure to impress even the most unfazed of trainspotters. Also you've to check out the last copies of the "Painkiller" T-Shirt designed by Marc Brandenburg – only available here at Kompakt.fm!

After a successful start last Saturday, our 20JK Pop Up Store Berlin opens its doors again on Monday, September 2nd, at 14:00 (local time) - come by to pick up exclusive vinyl and CD releases, plus take in talks, performances, and experience the open studios. Day 2 brings you an exciting conversation with writer, musician and DJ Ewan Pearson, who famously has his fingers in many parts of the dance music pie. He'll engage in a talk with producer and music technologist Tony Nwachukwu, who also happens to be the founder of CDR, a thriving producer community and creativity hub. Starting at 16:00 (local time), those two will surely have enough to chat about... until two hours later, when dubtronics don Deadbeat and UK prodigy Dauwd will take over the stage for their live performances. After a decade of releasing premier dub techno, in 2010 Scott Monteith aka Deadbeat launched his own BLKRTZ label dedicated to his own productions. On the heels of two releases as part of his “Infinity Dubs” series, Deadbeat will bring his lauded live show to the pop-up store, followed by rising star Dauwd (check out his breathtaking remix for COMA's "My Orbit"), who shows us why he’s earned a reputation for his live shows with Ableton Push. Furthermore, CDR DJs offer up a legacy set of the works in progress, unreleased songs, remixes and edits tracks that define the CDR project. The Pop Up Store is located at Ableton HQ, Schönhauser Allee 6-7, Berlin, Germany - the space has a cap of 120 attendees, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
