Here’s another Magical Mystery Mix with some autumnal selections that I’m feeling at the moment. It’s the follow up to Part 1 that I first recorded in February, and once again, if anyone can ID all the tracks in the mix in the next 7 days, we’ll send you some Brownswood Recordings goodies.
Either way, I’ll post the tracklist up here next week!

Greco Roman and recently announced Futureboogie artist ‘Hackman’ who has featured on Gilles Peterson’s Bubblers Nine and GTA V’s Worldwide FM with his 2012 release ‘Forgotten notes’ has released a new EP entitled ‘Change My Life’.
The 3 track melodic musings of Hackman are now available to stream via Pitchfork with the 12″ release soon to follow on December 9th and digital downloads available as soon as December 23rd. This soulful and bass infused release should most certainly be in your christmas playlist.

"To be able to find a place in town where people can share those musical experiences they might not be getting elsewhere is important… I think it has magical powers" Gilles Peterson
Following his sell-out, electrifying gig in October, founding member Gilles Peterson is curating his next live music event for The House of St Barnabas' Culture Series, when he will present the reformed Galliano, the very first signing to his Acid Jazz record label, who last performed in 1996. The performance will feature founding member Rob Gallagher, as well as Valerie Etienne. Representing Gilles' heritage and musical roots, this is an exciting moment for the Culture Series, as it unites emerging talent with this influential act. Galliano will be joined by the enigmatic Reginald Omas Mamode IV who has already received support from Gilles on his BBC 6Music show. His Do You? EP showcases his original, soulful sound. Also performing is Denai Moore, a young east Londoner described as a 'melancholy angel' by the NME. As has become the norm with Gilles Peterson presents, the gig will capture the zeitgeist ahead of Moore's 2014 UK tour, with her star firmly in the ascendant.
The stripped back, acoustic show will take place in the inimitable setting of the candle-lit and atmospheric chapel at The House of St Barnabas. Recently described as a "hip Soho hang-out" by the FT's How to Spend It, The House of St Barnabas is an iconic building, and its chapel provides the atmospheric setting for talks, conversations and events.
