Right now, New World Punx is one of the most highly touted artists group in the world. The dynamic duo of Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten have come together to create the new high profile group of New World Punx and so far, they have not disappointed. Legends in their own rights, New World Punx have been traveling around the world showcasing their dynamic and new personality to hundreds of thousands of fans so far this year. All while maintaining their solo careers, radio shows, radio labels and more. On Wednesday, November 27th, while most people were traveling home or getting ready to see family and eat Turkey at Thanksgiving, New World Punx drew thousands of fans to a sold-out show at the Hollywood Palladium. Presented by Insomniac Events, this was New World Punx first show out in Los Angeles, and with the reception that they received, you can guarantee that it will not be their last. Doors for the show opened at 9pm as fans lined up around the corner waiting for their chance to get in. Chicago favorite and Insomniac rising star Darin Epsilon was a late edition to the lineup, where he opened up the night before New World Punx. For 3 hours, Darin showcased his TRUE progressive house sound that he grew up on, mastered, and now produces through his Perspective Digital record label. He started out low and smooth, slowly moving up the beat and the rhythm and increasing the intensity. As the minutes went by, the crowd grew bigger and bigger as Darin had the whole venue dancing to the rhythm of his beats. Eventually though, Darin had to leave the stage to make way for the incomparable power of New World Punx. When Markus and Ferry took the stage, a scream erupted over the crowd. The anticipation and excitement of this moment was finally here. What fans had been waiting weeks for was finally coming to fruition. New World Punx were finally making their Los Angeles debut. For the next 4 hours, fans were in a constant state of trance, as Markus and Ferry delighted the crowds with massive tracks. With a sea of people constantly dancing on the dance floor, the next 4 hours seem to fly by in a matter of minutes. The relationship between space and time was no more as we got listen in the magic, the beauty, the power that is New World Punx. The spell-binding power of their set literally got us lost in the music. The emotional connection that people were feeling with their set was unlike any other as well. As fan hands in the air on the dance floor, had tears running down her face. When asked what was wrong, she said, “Nothing is wrong. This is the greatest moment of my entire life. I am just trying to soak it all in and enjoy every second of it.” Words can not express the energy or the attitude or the night in general. New World Punx came to LA and did something magical. If you have not been able to witness the magic of New World Punx, please, make it happen. Ferry and Markus will put on a show that will be hard to forget. It has just been over one week since Lange dropped his brand new album, We Are Lucky People. Just a few months ago, we interviewed Lange and he gave us all the juicy details about the album. The 2-disc album is full of the pure sounds of Lange that no one can deny. A day after the release of his brand new album, Lange hosted a 24-hour event, Intercity 150. In honor of broadcasting the 150th episode of his Intercity radio show, Lange had some of his good friends and top trance artists including Andy Moor, Paul van Dyk, Sean Tyas, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Protoculture, John O’Callaghan and more each provide an hour long trance mix for the show.
Now, Mixjunkies are proud to team up with Lange and Mixify to host the We Are Lucky People Album Launch party. On Wednesday, December 4th, Lange will hop on Mixify and play a private event for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Also, Lange will be talking and interacting with the fans throughout the set. Don’t miss your chance to to join Lange, Mixjunkies, and Mifiy for a night of pure magic as we get to listen to brand new music from We Are Lucky People. Lange On MixifyIntercity 150 Mixes |
