It was just last week that we announced that Empire of the Sun will be releasing their brand new single ‘DNA‘ is the coming weeks. It was on Friday that we showcased you the first remix from the package featuring Calvin Harris. Now we have the opportunity to show off another one, this time coming from one of house biggest superstars. Alex Metric is one of the biggest names in groove house as we speak. This British DJ has remixed everyone from Depeche Mode, Bloc Party, Phoenix, La Roux and more. Now, Alex Metric has created a remix that might be one of the best ones of the year. Opening up his remix of ‘DNA‘ with a smooth drum progression, Alex incorporates a low underlying synth progression that slowly and steadily builds up till the chorus and the break. With an intense yet groovy drum rhythm and a topline that is instantly memorable, this remix of ‘DNA’ stands out among anything that has been released so far this year. This much anticipated release of ‘DNA‘ from Alex Metric will be available September September 24th. |
