It's about the last song you expect to hear in minor key—and he's about the last person you'll see working as a bellhop, or performing with one of classical music's biggest stars.
But all three came true at this year's Grammys, as Pharrell Williams performed a weird and wonderful rendition of his megahit "Happy," with help from classical superstar Lang Lang and music legend Hans Zimmer—and added some much-needed quirk to an otherwise relatively sleepy show.
