 If you missed Soia on our compilation, On Deck (download) or her debut release Mood Swings (purchase), the songstress has returned with a new mix of Obtaining by frequent collaborator Mez. This version has more of an edge than the OG, but is more quality music from the duo…as expected. Hopefully we’ll hear more from the duo this year  |

My Sugar My Salt is a brassy number that swings with low bottom and finds Berenice van Leer lamenting the loss of a lover.  Ever wonder how much money Biggie was gettin in Germany? I would imagine it was substantially more than $600, and I’m sure if he dropped his extraordinary wordplay over The Poets of Rhythm aka The Mercy Sluts funky grooves there would be no lack of way for him to “Get Money.”Thanks to Steely Chan’s for this dope blend  |
