Lewis and Yung Satan found strength in numbers and joined forces to meet fruitful results, blending their respective talents to balance electro-trap with sounds so lofty that they could score an opulent scene in Gatsby. Liberating, drum-paired synth drives rapidly dot the track’s closing moments, as if to acknowledge the four minutes of sensory enlightenment that had just occurred. SZA premiered ‘Babylon’ last month, before Kendrick Lamar added a verse to the DJ Dahi-produced track. The new version appears on SZA’s Z EP, which is due out tomorrow. Stream ‘Babylon’ below.
