In its five-star review, The Guardian described Caribou's latest album Our Love as "rich, strange, endlessly fascinating music: a subtle, beautiful triumph."
The same could be said of the just-released video for the title track, which is made up of a single continuous shot that follows an elderly woman who, it seems, has just lost her husband — and it's oddly set to a danceable groove.
It is indeed rich, strange, subtle and beautiful. Watch:
Caribou is currently on tour in Europe, with sold out dates in London, Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Dublin and more, then heads to North America in November, with sold out Canadian dates in Toronto and Montreal.
