In an effort to rather talk about the future than the past, the highly acclaimed Red Bull Music Academy produced a very special kind of history book: giving an overview of sorts of the many musical luminaries that have graced the academy's evolution, the book called "For The Record" (watch the video here) presents extensive conversations between artists, with kick-ass combinations like Nile Rodgers and Martyn Ware, DJ Harvey and Ben UFO, Lee "Scratch" Perry and Adrian Sherwood, Kerry Chandler and Patrick Adams and many more - Cómeme's very own Matias Aguayo makes an appearance, discussing the rhythm of language with none other than Sly & Robbie (!). Designed by Double Standards (of Perlon record cover fame), the book is a gorgeous piece of art itself, with tremendously inspiring and varied layouts for each interview session, and it's reasonably priced, too: check it out here, yours for 29,90 Euros only!
