GDD favorites Pleasurekraft are back with a HUGE collab release with friends Jaceo and Vedic, unleashing the brutally infectious tech house their known for. Here’s what they had to say:
“On the heels of our “American Hustle” EP – we are back with our boys Jaceo & Vedic – this time on Bitten Records with our ’313 (Detroit Calling)’ EP. Named after the city’s area code – lyrically the track is an homage to the city’s resilience in the face of constant hardships – to give birth to a musical genre and movement that has touched the lives of millions around the world.
The flip side – “212″ is not actually named after New York City’s dialing code as one might suspect – but is rather the temperature (in fahrenheit) that water turns from a liquid into a gas (pretty fucking hot). The words – courtesy of the one and only Ray Winstone – from the incredible film “Sexy Beast” – underscore that hot feeling we’ve all experienced in our favorite neighborhood ‘sweat on the walls’ nightclub. Ok so maybe it wasn’t 212 fahrenheit in the club – but you get the point!”
