As featured during Warp’s 30th anniversary broadcast on NTS Radio. Autechre really know how to treat their fans. After debuting two hours of unreleased material from their ’89 – 93 archive during NTS Radio's WXAXRXP broadcast over the weekend, Rob Brown and Sean Booth have shared the entire mix for free. Head over to the Autechre’s Bleep store page to grab the free download. Warp Tapes 89-93 features unreleased early material that shys away from the more experimental tendencies of their recent output in favour of simpler production and big tunes. One for the heads. Daedelus and Bleep Labs make new modular-friendly sampler delay module, Delaydelus 2

Limited to just 100 units.
Beat scene icon Daedelus and boutique synth company Bleep Labs are teaming up once again for a new patchable sampler delay module, Delaydelus 2. Delaydelus 2 is described by Bleep Labs as a “performative sampler” that’s able to manipulate the pitch of four stereo samples at once, allowing it to create everything from “boom bap beats to outer dimensional noise loops” with the aid of a syncable delay. The colorful effects box is the successor to 2015’s original Delaydelus, a limited edition custom sampler and delay unit with arcade-style buttons and alligator clip patch bay. Delaydelus 2 replaces the clips for a banana plug patch bay and adds CV and trigger ins and outs for connecting a Eurorack system or other analog gear. Just like the original Delaydelus, the new model can conjure up some seriously tripped-out dub sounds and mangle samples in weird and wonderful ways. Sounds can be captured via the audio input or loaded via a Micro SD card, though the unit also comes loaded with samples from Daedelus himself. Delaydelus 2 is available to pre-order now for $295, and includes a pin designed by Trek Matthews, the graphic designer responsible for the striking case. Only 100 units will be manufactured and pre-orders will close as soon as that number is reached, so be quick. Revisit Daedelus’s 2016 episode of Against The Clock below. Christmas came early for Warp fans over the weekend.
Over the weekend NTS Radio and Warp Records joined forces to bring us WXAXRXP, a three-day celebration of three decades of the legendary label.
Some of the label’s biggest names debuted new music throughout the broadcast, with Autechre revealing two hours of unreleased material from ’89-93 (available to download for free), Boards of Canada contributing a two-hour mix featuring what is speculated to be new and unreleased material and Kelela singing over various retro Warp productions.
Other highlights included Brian Eno’s collaboration with Extinction Rebellion, which featured field recordings of some of the activist group’s demonstrations set to Apollo standout ‘Silver Morning’, a new project from Death Grips and a recording of Oneohtrix Point Never’s London Roundhouse from earlier this year.
A previously unavailable video of Aphex Twin’s Steve Reich-referencing performance at the Barbican in 2012 was released by NTS and Special Request did a special two-hour tribute to LFO.
