There's considerable evidence pointing to the undeniable creative chemistry between house music wizard the Juan MacLean and vocalist/former LCD Soundsystem member Nancy Whang, and "Feel Like Movin'" is the latest example of the magic that occurs when these two join forces. Taken from a split single from Shit Robot out today and released in advance of Juan's follow-up to 2008's solid The Future Will Come that's due next year, the eight-minute-plus track is pure DFA gold with a classic sound, right down to the blocky piano stabs and hollering vocal sample that adds a whiplash-inducing touch. |
