Singer teams up with Four Tet and Robyn for as-yet untitled album laid down in a 'liberating' five-day session
Neneh Cherry has teamed up with Four Tet and Robyn for her first solo record in 17 years.
While Cherry's press release described the as-yet untitled LP as a "solo album", it is also apparently "a collaboration" with the London-based electronic duo RocketNumberNine. The work that makes up the album was previously performed at the Manchester international festival earlier this year. Four Tet's Kieran Hebden, who has remixed a couple of Cherry's recent singles, is the project's official producer, and Cherry's Swedish compatriot, Robyn, puts in a "guest appearance".
