Fresh off the success of his recent smash, “Dirty Work”, Chicago funkster Sam Padrul continues his ride on a big Summer wave with his latest offering, “Hold On Me”. “Hold On Me” features Australian artist Mammals & the song is another fine example by Sam Padrul of how electronic pop music should be properly executed. And, of course, it’s his funk that brings it all together. It’s the type of sexy, pop driven funk that many electronic artists are either not daring enough to try or not funky enough to deliver. With Mammals being no stranger to top team ups (previously teaming up on Goldroom’s classic “Till Sunrise”), this pairing is a perfect Summertime collaboration. Time to set sail on the sea of Summertime funk…
