Coming strong out of Philidelphia, Louis Futon has had quite an eventful 2015 only a couple months in. Having already released two official remixes that were both very special in their own ways taking on both Just A Gent’s “Limelight”, and ODESZA’s “Say My Name”, both receive kngs but that wasn’t it. He is also still riding the buzz of his very successful self-titled Louis Futon EP that was given away as a free download. It has collected over 2 million collective plays on his soundcloud upload of it alone and has already amassed over 40,000 free downloads through his website, and these landmarks have been achieved in just under 1 month.
His next target to remix is rapper G-Eazy who’s coming off a #1 debut studio album which is close to breaking 200k copies sold already. He’s been officially enlisted to remix his song “Lets Get Lost (Ft. Devon Baldwin)”, where Louis completely reimagines the song. Louis pushes the boundaries blending hip-hop and his signature electronic style for a combination you will be moving to. He highlights G-Eazy rapping and the smooth vocals of artist Devon Baldwin who’s been growing into her own buzzing artist to be on the look for. With all these artists on the same track, the result is unbeatable. The artists have graciously passed this out as a free download as well.
