The lead singer of Little Dragon, Yukimi Nagano was born in January 1982 to a Swedish-American mother and a Japanese father. She grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she still lives. She met bandmates Fred Wallin (drums) and Erik Bodin (bass) in high school but the band (which also includes Håkan Wirenstrand on keyboards) didn't start releasing until 2006. Their fourth album, Nabuma Rubberband, is out next month.
