      Announced late last year, the new LP by Axel Willner (a.k.a. The Field) under his HANDS alias is set to arrive next week via the Ecstatic label. But before the noise/drone project's debut sees a release, its four lengthy tracks are now available to stream in full.

      Next week, Anu Pillai (a.k.a. Freeform Five) will release his "Leviathan" single via Belgium's Eskimo label. Featuring the talents of Irish vocalist Róisín Murphy (of Moloko fame), the single will also come backed with a pair of remixes from Dutch house maven Tom Trago—both of which can now be heard exclusively on XLR8R ahead of their release.

      Seeing as how 2014 marks the 10th year of Hyperdub's existence, the Kode9-helmed label has some special celebratory plans in the works, but before those details are announced, the boss man himself (pictured above), Chicago footwork don DJ Rashad, and UK DJ/producer Ikonika will all soon embark on a handful of performances in select North American cities.

      After catching the attention of Kastle's Symbols label with his busy remixing, Athens-based producer Minorstep (a.k.a. George Kroustallis) has signed his Weep EP to the imprint for a release on February 18. Featured here, the record's title track kicks off with an aquatic bassline accented with ornate vocal chops which waft upwards like exhaled smoke. Minorstep's production only continues to gather momentum with the thumping pulse of a kick drum, making room for a short breather just before it all dissolves into silence.       It feels like it was ages ago when a young Southern California beatmaker by the name of Mtendere Mandowa dropped his first official full-length as Teebs via Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint, wowing just about everyone who heard Ardour with the crunchy, autumnal splendor of its glowing beats. And though the producer has been anything but quiet in the three-plus years since that record dropped, his insatiable fans have undoubtedly all been waiting for the moment he announced his follow-up album.
