 Thug readies his third release of the year. Young Thug has been previewing his upcoming self-titled (so to speak) project “Jeffery” on Instagram and has now announced it will drop on August 16. The tape follows up two 2016 projects: I’m Up and Slime Season 3. There’s still no word on when I Came From Nothing 4 and his debut album Hy!£UN35 (seriously, we’re not counting Barter 6 even though it’s a triumph) will be released, but if “Jeffery” is like what we’ve heard so far this year, it should be a great holdover. Back in June, Thug debuted ‘Turn Up’ with a video co-starring his fiancée Jerrika Karlae.
