 Jason Singh Tweet Music
Jason Singh, UK beatboxer, has just produced a piece of audio work for the National Trust entitled Tweet Music - surely the first mention of the NT in a hip-hop publication. Singh has recreated (sic. remixed) the warbles, chirups and calls of some of the nations best-known songbirds creating an album that celebrates the arrival of spring.

Singh visited National Trust places for inspiration before creating the album, which features Blackbirds, Robins, Woodpeckers, Crows, Skylarks, Owls and Buzzards. Research reveals that this natural cacophony, the soundtrack to our gardens, parks and woods, makes people calmer but boosts their positivity. Making this natures very own downtempo record.
An innvotative project that celebrates nature through urban culture, we think it’s well worth a listen

Madlib and Freddie Gibbs‘ new collaboration project “Piñata” now arrived a the record stores. Pinata is "a gangster Blaxploitation film on wax," Gibbs says, and the full-length result of a process that began in 2009. It's an album with a sound that couldn't be any further from the radio, where, according to the Gibbs, every rapper is Superman, or the dope dealer of the century, who has grinded to the top, never made a mistake and has no chinks in his armor. Read the full interview and order the album on Rappcats.
