GDD is back in Colorado this fall putting our stamp on Mile High with a series of intimate shows with some of our favorite breakout artists of this year.

We are looking for some dedicated GDD™ fans in the Denver, Boulder and Ft. Collins areas to help us with the marketing and coordination of these upcoming shows featuring acts like Cashmere Cat, Hudson Mohawke, & more TBA and want YOUR help in making them the best shows Colorado has ever seen!

Get involved with the local Colorado dance music community & meet like-minded people, make $$$, get free tickets & GDD swag, and learn about the live music biz.

GDD™ Mix Premiere: Youan – Fabric Warm Up Mix

UK’s Youan crept onto my radar last month with his latest single, “Nightwalker,” which incorporates elements of Tech and Deep that I was immediately drawn to. Upon doing some research, I found that the relatively green producer has a couple of remixes done for Kastle and Empire of the Sun; the latter of which has been played on BBC and hosted on Mixmag in recent weeks. Additionally, Youan will be playing Fabric Room 1 in London this Friday along with Jack Beats, Zane Lowe, Mixhell, and others, and he’s put together a warm-up mix for us featuring some top producers like Breach, Huxley, Toyboy & Robin, as well as a few original tunes toward the end. This week amidst the big room festival noise everyone is gravitating towards, we present you with a crispy alternative to get your weekend started, whether traveling to Vegas or just holding it down on the home front. The Mexicali/Indio duo known as Thee Cool Cats take the reigns on the GDD guest mix, dropping us an hour of G house (which if you didn’t already known stands for gangster house – a funky deep house backbone with a thugging hip hop spirit.) These dudes are on the come up and have forthcoming releases on NYC’s Nurvous Records and Amine Edge‘s new label CUFF. I’ve been supporting them since day one in my sets, and these tracks go off huge for any crowd. Listen below and get ta’ groovin.

We’ve had an absolute blast curating the WIDE AWAKE Art Car Stage at New York and Chicago the past month, and this weekend, it’s time for the holy grail of Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. We’ve put together a great lineup for this Saturday the 22nd, with sets from GDD™ homies like Wax Motif, Bixel Boys, Craig Williams, and Astronomar, who has put together a killer minimix to give you a taste of his set Saturday night. While it was a bit rainy and cold in Chicago for the midwest stop of Electric Daisy Carnival last month, it was still an absolute blast. We had the chance to see some great sets, including one from our friend Tittsworth who played the Bass Pod on that Saturday evening, and we’re happy to announce that he happened to record the entire thing and is sharing it with us all this morning. Featuring a grip of Tittsworth’s own bassy originals and remixes, this live recording should be a great mood-setter if you’re planning on turnin’ up in Vegas for EDC this weekend.
