Every Sunday Armin van Buuren takes over Sirius XM for A State of Sundays. The day is filled with amazing productions from numerous trance producers as well as DJ shows. Dash Berlin always adds to the mix with an amazing line up of tunes. We nabbed this one because we love this guy! Melodic, vocal trance that is always epic. Enjoy.

Markus Schulz has soldified himself as one of the greatest trance producers of this generation. Ever evolving, while still maintaining true to himself, Markus Schulz has powered on through the past decade to see himself rise to the top of the dance music scene. Being born in Germany, Markus grew up in Miami to learn the life of the music scene in one of America’s most flourishing areas for dance music. Today, Markus Schulz still calls Miami home, but calls the entire world his playground, playing at the biggest and best clubs around the face of the planet. Having started DJing in the early 90s, Markus Schulz released his first major single release in 1998 called ‘You Won’t See Me Cry‘. Since then, Markus has released a number of singles and remixes, 11 compilation albums, 3 remix albums and 2 studio albums under the name Dakota. But Markus has also released 4 studio albums under his own name; and on February 21st, he is set to release his brand new album Scream 2. The follow up to the world-famous 2012 release, Scream, Scream 2 is a magnificent piece of work, that will shed a tear to every trance lovers eyes. Scream, was one of the best trance albums to reach the public in the last decade. The album featured 19 tracks (or 23 if you bought the bonus version) of stil some of the most popular vocal and club track songs in the past years. In fact, many of these songs are still played by DJs to this day. Scream 2 will be a massive deployment to Markus Schulz, showcasing a harder, edgier side to trance music, that was showcased in his Buenos Aires ’13 mix compilation. To help bring the new album into existance, Markus Schulz will be doing a series of 4 album release parties in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and London. Mixjunkies will be at the show this Thursday in Los Angeles at Sound Nightclub as Markus Schulz debuts his new album for the first time. We also will have the pleasure of interviewing the Unicorn Slayer himself. With many questions flowing through our minds about the new album, we cannot wait to see what Markus has to say. |

The story is almost too idyllic: a pair of music aficionados meeting by chance in a UK record store, and going on to form acclaimed house music duo Prok & Fitch. Now, the original ‘Men with Soul‘ will be bringing their dance-inducing rhythms on their North American Man With Soul Tour kicking off at LIV in Miami this Thursday, Feburary 6th. The 10-date tour will also hit Canada, New York, Chicago and more. Next month Prok & Fitch will present their forthcoming single ‘Man With Soul‘ featuring the vocal talents of award winning Max Linen, due out February 10th via Toolroom Records. ‘Man With Soul‘ focuses on a high-energy disco groove that relentlessly builds towards a mammoth drop where Max Linen's infamous vocal takes hold, that has since caused it to be heavily featured in Mark Knight's sets. |
