Tickets to the London-based singer’s Sydney and Melbourne gigs sold out quickly to fans of her recent EP and its tracks Talk Talk and Vacant Space. She’ll be supported by local artists Joy, Jimmy2sox, Moon Holiday and Touch Sensitive on tour.

As down tempo music is on the rise, the term ‘ambient’ and ‘melodic’ is thrown around so often it has almost lost its meaning. With that being said, it wasn’t until now I found a song that truly encompassed the definition of ambient. Brought to you from our favorite bass connoisseur, Kill Paris returns today with his latest original “You Don’t Love Me No More”. Following up his release “Space Forest”, the second track from his forthcoming album is smooth, sweet and has just enough funk. Keeping in time with the outer space theme, the bass-centric tune soothes the soul as it glides through wavy synths and calming instrumentations. His album “Galaxies Between Us” is set to be released off the ultra talented producer’s own label “Sexy Electric” on April 14th. Check out the stream and grab the free download below.

The boss is back. Omar Souleyman is the face of Syrian wedding rave, or dabke, in the west and has the kind of profile in the UK that a lot of British artists can only dream of. And rightly so. His last album, Wenu Wenu, was released on the Domino imprint Ribbon and produced by Keiran Hebden, also known as Four Tet. This time out, he’s releasing an album, Bahdeni Nam, on the German dance label Monkeytown, featuring production turns from Hebden, Legowelt, Gilles Peterson and Cole Alexander from Black Lips. The epic lead track, Enssa El Aatab, has been produced to a high sheen by Modeselektor. Not everyone will like the western EDM stylings, but to most this should herald a banging new album and some must-see live shows in Europe.

Everyone knows each other. There’s one particular record shop, Idle Hands, that people make for, and everyone goes to each other’s nights. It’s a tight music scene. There are also a lot of major DJs who live here and who are pioneers of certain styles. You could easily go to a club night and see someone you’ve admired for a long time DJing in a really small venue.

Major Lazer’s long-awaited cartoon will get its official premiere in April. Shown on FXX, Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire’s animated series will include a host of well-known names in film and music.

“It’s been almost five years in the making,” Diplo told Billboard, “but it was worth it to have such a succinct TV show for our music fans and cartoon fans alike.”
