Raleigh Ritchie – Bloodsport Posted: 06 Dec 2013 06:23 AM PST Raleigh Ritchie who impressed Kendrick Lamar by getting hand-picked to open for him on tour during the “Compton rappers” in UK is slowly splashing himself into channeling US stars in the genre Frank Ocean and Miquel and continues to rise his string of glorious soft r&b songs with his new record “Bloodsport” off his upcoming EP “Black and Blue”. Ritchie shows why love is a “Bloodsport” in this soulful retro r&b vibe-ish track which delivers what we’ve come to expect from Raleigh – a sublime musical journey featuring a warm, soulful voice with honest, introspective lyrics that can truly appeal to a vast audience right now. On his previous EP “The Middle Child”, Ritchie showcased just why he would soon become one of the UK's most soulful artists with his lush vocals and compelling lyrics. “Bloodsport” is taken from his four-song EP “Black and Blue” which is set to be released on January 5, 2014. It can be pre-ordered here. Check out more of his work on his Soundcloud.
