Watch This Anti-Drug PSA From Some Of Your Favorite DJs Posted: 01 Sep 2013 08:32 PM PDT This is just amazing. In the wake of the tragic deaths of 2 people at Electric Zoo and 4 people in critical condition, artists have stepped up to tell you that you don’t need drugs to have a good time and some safety tips on how to help people out who are. Featuring Kasakde, Tommie Sunshine, A-trak, Z-Trip, Steve Aoki and Apl.De.Ap, it shows that artists really do care about you and your well being. We are a genre of music taking over the world, one beat at a time. We do not need drugs or other illegal substances to have fun. We come for the music, we connect with the music, we stay for the music. As the end of the video says, “Play Together, Stay Safe Together.” To those who have lost their lives because of drug use, you will be missed. To everyone else, stay safe and let’s make this, the movement that defines our generation. Let’s not be held down by the sterotypes, but redefine them to bring on a brighter future. Rave Responsibly.

Tiesto Cheeses Out To Gain Votes For DJ Mag Top 100 Posted: 31 Jul 2013 02:43 PM PDT Sorry, but this is just getting ridiculous. Tiesto ditched the wonderful sounds of trance after his blended mix of trance and progressive album called Kaleidoscope. Now, Tiesto plays the progressive, trap, dubstep, EPIC sound that everyone else plays these days. With the DJ Top 100 voting going on at this time of the year too, every DJ who the list actually matters to, is trying to do anything they can to make it to the top spot on the list. Now Tiesto has pulled the chunkest move of all. Tiesto has taken to Facebook and Twitter to tell his fans that he will create a brand new trance album is they voted him to the top spot in the Top 100.
