As last year at New Morning, they played a killer Afrobeat set, reaching terrible heights on the new tracks such as "Gold Rush", bringing chills down the spine and tears in the eyes… and that was before the surprise arrival of legendary drummer Tony Allen and percussionist Chief Udoh Essiet for a take on 'Alagbon Close'… and an Afrobeat cover of this summer's hit 'Get Lucky' by you-know-who!!! |
