Andrew Morrison, aka The Cyclist, continues to daze. Forever shapeshifting, his previous releases — including  "Vibradreams" and "Basslines for Life" on labels like 100% Silk — have been hard to file away. He describes his distinctive style as "an attempt to get to a time in electronic music, where everything sounds warmer, like with the more techno-ey tunes." The journey for such sounds has marked his rise, with four full length albums under his belt and his latest EP showing no signs of fatigue.

The title track from his upcoming Pressing Matters EP is a genre-bender, warping flexible bass, wavy synths, and energetic breaks into a stellar hark back to golden age breakbeat.
Pressing Matters, the EP, is out on September 2nd via Hypercolour.

Kerri Chandler Unplugged “Track 1 (A Classical Rework)”

Our millennial audience is always ‘switched on’; forever ping-ponging between a matrix of social networks, email chains and app ambling. With this in mind, we are clubbing together with Ray-Ban to unplug ourselves from the interwebs, with an event centred on the thrill of falling off the grid. On August 18, we'll be hosting a very special London party headlined by inimitable house music legend Kerri Chandler, and another DJing great we'll be announcing on Thursday. With this event, we’ll be providing an exciting return to classic partying; mobile phones away, brains in dance mode, and a rare opportunity to be 100% in the moment.

In the run-up, house music chieftain Kerri Chandler stripped away the digital gear to take a one-off dip into the world of classical music. Alongside Troy Denari, Kerri reworked his anthemic "The Way It Goes (Track 1)" arranging a live orchestra (and jumping on double bass himself) to recreate the well known classic.

Press play to watch the never-before-seen ploy unravel, including reminders as to why offline can be just as good as (if not, better) at providing moments of unparalleled self-expression.
RSVP for the event here and download the classical refix version of "The Way It Goes (Track 1)" below.
