Ever since Louis Futon won me over at Coachella earlier this year, I’ve been keeping an eye on him. In the midst of several Gallant remixes, he surfaced with his own take on “Weight In Gold,” and he executed his rendition to perfection. On his remix, Louis Futon uses creative interplay between the song’s main elements and Gallant’s soulful vocals for a unique, R&B-tinged number that’s still getting love after hundreds of thousands of plays.
