Disclosure Show They’re “Willing & Able” With New Music Video

Disclosure are fast becoming the kings of churning out hit after hit, and now their latest attempt ‘Willing & Able’ has been curated with the help of the London-based Kwabs.

The video landed on YouTube yesterday and is the second single to come from the upcoming ‘Caracal’ album, that drops on September 25 via Island Records.

‘Willing & Able’ follows the previous single ‘Holding on’ with Gregory Porter, which came out back in June.

Check out the video for ‘Willing & Able’ below to get the flavour of what’s to come when the album rolls around in September.

Simian Mobile Disco’s Jas Shaw goes solo on Love Doubled

Simian Mobile Disco‘s Jas Shaw has a solo EP on the way titledLove Doubled.

The EP, due out on September 25th, is Shaw’s first solo record. He’s been hitting the studio while his Simian Mobile Disco partner, James Ford, has been off producing for various bands. It’ll see release on Shaw and Ford’s Delicacies label on vinyl and digital formats. We caught up with Shaw via email to find out more about the record:

Tell us why you’ve decided to go it alone on this release.

Well, I’ve just built myself a brand new studio outside of London, and have been getting everything set up there all running nicely now, so I naturally wanted to test things out. And James (Ford) has been abroad producing for a variety of bands for most of this year, so I’ve had a bit more time on my hands to work on solo material while he’s away. We’re going to be back in the studio later in the year to work on new SMD stuff though, never fear.

Have you got any more solo material on the way?

Yeah, I’ve recorded 10-12 tracks in a similar vein, which will be seeing the light of day at some point. I also have a set of more ambient works, which I composed specifically for a gig I did warming up for Swans at the Roundhouse a couple of months back. They’ll also be released later down the line, although potentially under a different project name.

Listen to “Love Doubled” below.

Tracklist
01. Love Doubled
02. It’s Not The Clock That Tells The Time
03. To Mock A Killingbird

Delicacies will release Love Doubled on September 25th, 2015.

Matt Lange Reveals “My Love Aside,” the First Single From His Debut Album Ephemera

mau5trap’s newest signee, Matt Lange, releases an exciting first single from his forthcoming album, Ephemera, and shows off a different side that you may catch you off guard. Fully embracing his dark side, “My Love Aside,” is an infectious atmospheric-driven track, combined with mutated club-ready techno and is not for the faint of heart. Buy “My Love Aside” on Beatport or iTunes, and stay tuned for the Ephemera release on September 10th.

No Artificial Colours Drop Deep House Remix of Little Giants’ “Lately”

Hailing from South East London, the producer/DJ duo, No Artificial Colours, are on a steady ascent as they deliver a stand-out remix of Little Giants’ “Lately.” They’ve layered edited vocals from the original on top of a thick, driving groove that’s paired with warm atmospheres and shuffling percussion for a dance floor gem. Enjoy above!
