Music For Adverts is Lack Of Afro’s fourth original album and sees the producer developing his sound even further. The beats are still there, together with the funk rhythms, but the album is much more of a song-based affair. Jack Tyson-Charles appears as guest vocalist on five tracks, including the opening anthem, Freedom, the northern soul tinged single Recipe Of Love and the beautiful acoustic souls of The Gypsy. Other top tunes include The Contender, One For The Trouble and Making It Right featuring Juliette Ashby. Quite possibly Lack Of Afro’s strongest album to date and well worth checking out.
