A few weeks back Brazilian rapper Karol Conka swung by the Brownswood Basement whilst she was in London, to perform a live version of her banger, ‘Boa Noite’ for Gilles.
Whilst the track is featured on the soundtrack of FIFA 2014, it’s taken from the album ‘Batuk Freak’, out now on Mr Bongo.
The album is produced by Nave, the man behind the beats for such Brazilian rap greats as Emicida (MTV Iggy call’s him “the Brazilian Jay Z”) and multi-award winner Marcelo D2.
