I love these examples of early Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back posters with alternate logos and artwork. Even the finished film poster above has a rare shot of the heroes with Leia in Chewbacca‘s arms and the uneven red ‘crawl’ logo which is quite badly rendered when you look at it.
Below is an even earlier version with Ralph McQuarrie paintings plus an invite to one of the first public screenings.

Below are what look like poster prelims for Empire… with a totally different logo design that I’d never seen before.

I Can't Stop Drinking About You
Sometimes the best way to forget about an ex is too drink yourself into oblivion. You’ll find that the desire for 2AM pizza and a killer headache the next day are easily able to replace any thoughts of an old flame. On her latest single, pop upstart Bebe Rexha counters thinking about her ex by drinking for them. The lyrics …   Click the link for the stream.

Blitz The Ambassador is Ghanian-American rapper, who we know since his The Warm Up EP. Big thanks to Jakarta Records for introducing him to us, because he is that kind of artist, who will enlighten you life thru his music. You can really feel his african roots in his lyrics, music and wisdom. The new album Afropolitan dreams will be released on April 28th, but you can listen to 3 tracks to get a little idea of the album sound. We are really looking forward to it and to the guests like Sarkodie, Nneka, Seun Kuti, Angelique Kidjo and more. Listenn.

                          insomniac
Last week, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission was ordered to pay Insomniac, Inc. approximately $400,000 in attorney's fees stemming from the Commission's failed lawsuit against Insomniac and the company's CEO, Pasquale Rotella.
Last August 30, Superior Court Judge Terry Green dismissed all claims made by the Commission against Insomniac and Mr. Rotella, finding that despite six attempts the Commission had still failed to plead a viable case. Subsequent to the August ruling, Insomniac filed a motion to collect the attorneys' fees that it incurred in defeating the Commission's claims.
In response to Friday's decision, Insomniac's attorney, Gary Jay Kaufman, issued the following statement:
“We are very pleased that the Court awarded Insomniac the full amount of its attorneys' fees. This is just further confirmation of what we have maintained from day one: this lawsuit was ill-conceived, politically motivated and publicity driven. Neither Insomniac nor Mr. Rotella did anything wrong and this lawsuit should never have been brought in the first place."
But while the Coliseum must pay the legal fees, that does not mean that Pasquale Rotella is out of hot water. As we reported back in July of last year when the civil charges were dismissed, criminal charges are still being pursued against Pasquale Rotella and Insomniac Events.
We will have to see how this story unfolds, but for now, this is a massive win for Pasquale and Insomniac Events.
