Listen: Joey Bada$$ raps over old J Dilla beat on Two Lips
J Dilla’s seemingly infinite back catalogue is the time-honoured gift that keeps on giving. The latest of his beats to see the light of day comes courtesy of New York wonderkid Joey Bada$$ and clothing brand Akomplice who together have have released an exclusive 7″ featuring the previously unheard production, with Bada$$ riding the beat on the flipside.
As humble as ever, Bada$$ had this to say: "I thank both parties for allowing me to be a part of it and allowing me to use unreleased beats by my favorite producer of all time. It's a brighter day." Stream it below.

Debian Blak x Bonafide Beats #47
You get the sense that Debian Blak is enjoying himself at the moment. One cursory look through his Twitter feed or Facebook page shows a young man who is clearly quite taken aback by the level of success he is currently enjoying. With a fevered excitement that isn't unlike the proverbial kid in a candy shop, he takes snaps of everything from his visits to record labels, to shots of his home studio and an endearing thank you selfie for reaching 100,000 plays on Soundcloud.

Counting trendy nightspots XOYO, Shacklewell Arms and Birthdays among the clubs where he has strutted his stuff, it's fair to say that Blak's pretty in demand at the moment. Hats off, then, to him for finding time in his busy schedule to put together a mix for our Bonafide Beats series, one that outlines exactly why he is on such a steep upward curve. A more than suitable accompaniment for the bitterly cold weather that's slowly been making its presence felt over the past couple of weeks, Blak's mix highlights exactly why he was asked to recently support young r'n'b star Moko's show at Corsica Studios. Squeezing Mount Kimbie, Sampha and Bondax in amongst a few of his own unreleased cuts, it's a light, poppy mix that can be appreciated either in the bedroom or on the night bus home. Either way, it's one that is sure to give you the same quiet warmth as his remixes of Ellie Goulding, Laura Mvula and, earlier this week, his new single Say You, featuring Joshua Idehen.

Could we ask for any more at this time of year? Dig in below.

Mount Kimbie – Break Well
Sampha – Without
Kwabs – Last Stand
Jungle – Lucky I Got What I Want
Debian Blak – Say You ft Joshua Idehen (unreleased)
Bondax – Giving It All

Naughty Boy – La La La (Pále remix)
Barnaby – Fresh Made Lemonade (Debian Blak remix)
Debian Blak – I Was a Dream (unreleased)
Belle – It’s All Made Up (Debian Blak remix) (unreleased)
