Only 3 weeks away until Gilles, Four Tet and Floating Points head to Berlin for this very special Steve Reid fundraiser – Free Spirits, in collaboration with the JAW family with the aim to raise money for the Steve Reid Foundation. All proceeds raised will go to Steve's close friend & brilliant jazz musician Arthur Blythe who's currently struggling with Parkinson's disease & serious health problems. This fundraiser will also donate €1 of every ticket sold to the Festsaal Kreuzberg club, the previous venue for this event and very special club in Berlin which sadly got burnt down earlier on this year.
This event will bring together an extremely high caliber of live acts and exceptional taste makers for a day & night of independent, improvised & spiritual music for two great causes.
