 Today, techno auteur and Kompakt regular Terranova shared his own Exclusive Mix for Electronic Beats. His hour-long set features a collage of own material, as well as music from Red Axes, Neville Watson and classics from Cajmere and Peace Division – "a hypnotic, groove-laden affair that takes the gritty house sound and gives it a sizeable injection of personality". In celebration of its ongoing 20th anniversary Kompakt will host a label showcase in London this fall. Presented by Broken & Uneven's The Hydra Kompakt will come to town on October 25th for a party at Fire with Kompakt boss Michael Mayer headlining. He'll be backed up by label regulars Robag Wruhme, Pachanga Boys, Sasche Funke, Blond:Ish, Terranova and Walls. Acclaimed Danish-German producer Kölsch and technolove duo Saschienne will be the night's live performers. Kompakt VJ Okinawa 69 will also be present. After working with the likes of SBTRKT, Jessie Ware, and Drake, London R&B singer/producer, Sampha presents his first full solo outing "Dual", out now via Young Turks. Offering an intimate and idiosyncratic glimpse into his artistic intent the EP showcases Sampha's talents not only as a vocalist but more broadly as a songwriter and producer.
